Abstract: In our research of municipal ordinances across Florida, there was a loud message that we heard and shared with each other - Safety is a concern in any job, and there are regulations for more job titles, and industry segments, than most people may know about. In this webinar we are focusing on Worker Safety (Job Safety) for the federal regulations, national standards, Florida's state level statutes and rules and procedures, county level ordinances and procedures and specifications, and municipal level ordinances and procedures and specifications, that are written and applicable to jobs in Urban Forestry. Whether your job title is Account Representative, Municipal Forester, County Urban Forester, City Arborist, Parks Manager, Tree Crew Supervisor, Consulting Arborist, County Horticultural Agent, Environmental Scientist, Urban Forester, and so many other job titles we all know, THERE ARE SAFETY REGULATIONS, and Safe Work Standards, that apply to parts of the work that you do.
